LED light strip White Eta 180, 8.7W/m, 10mm wide, 24V - high efficiency
Excellent light quality: Our White Eta 180 LED light strip is exceptionally bright and efficient. With 180 high selected LED per meter (SDCM2) and the natural-looking white tone you conjure up harmony and a friendly atmosphere to feel good in every room. With Ra80, the color rendering is very good, moreover, we can produce this light strip so super efficient, because with increasing Ra value decreases the efficiency.
For very high light demand: Eta 180 shines with a very high luminous flux and is therefore very suitable for direct lighting with very high light demand, e.g. used in profiles on short distances.

Comfortable feel-good atmosphere for sensual moments
Whether tea or coffee - in a harmonious ambience the pleasure is twice as intense!
Perfect for direct and indirect room lighting
Minimal power consumption with maximum brightness & efficiency - our sustainable bestseller for direct lighting is in various
shades of white available. Whether recessed in walls, ceilings, furniture, design lamps - this series opens up almost unlimited possibilities in lighting planning and design. This LED light strips extremely powerful and therefore the ideal choice in lighting projects with a high to very high brightness requirement on rather short distances.
Use in profile strongly recommended!
Please be sure to use this strip light in LED profiles. Thanks to 180 LEDs per meter, when used in LED profiles, together with an opal diffuser, the continuous row is spotless from a depth of 7 mm. Measured inside, distance from the floor to the diffuser.
Aluminum and zinc sheet profiles optimally dissipate the resulting waste heat. This is especially important for longer distances to avoid premature failure of the LED.

All product information at a glance
Our LED light strips are very adaptable and easy to install. Nevertheless, you should pay attention to a few points. In this overview we list the most important aspects. Just click on the plus sign. The technical data can be found in the specification above. If you need more information, we will be happy to help you. Here you can order an appointment or request a question in the helpdesk .
The LED light strip is dimmable via PWM , so that you can dim it with a suitable ballast, such as our
controller flicker-free (1000 Hz) to your desired brightness at any time.
For operation a 24V DC power supply is required. Please calculate at least 20% safety reserve. Calculate the power of the light strip
over the whole length and divide the result by 0.8. Round up to the next available power level. You can find a suitable power supply in our online store.
-
On/Off: you only need a 24V LED power supply for the current supply.
Dimming: you need a 24V LED power supply unit, a LED controller and a smart home control panel or a remote control for white LEDs.
For sufficient heat dissipation and long service life, we generally recommend mounting in a profile.
Please never glue this LED light strip directly onto insulating substrates (e.g. wooden structures, insulation boards, sheetrock, polystyrene, etc.), but only onto heat-dissipating substrates, e.g. aluminum profiles.
A sufficient heat dissipation is essential for LEDs, especially over long distances. Excessive heat generation can significantly shorten the intended service life of the LED.
Due to the unavoidable voltage loss in the conductors, the light output is reduced as the length of the light band increases. The reduction is proportional to the voltage loss.
If the voltage at the end is reduced by 10%, for example, the luminous flux of the last LED segment is also reduced by this same 10%.
The maximum length as stated in the specification (tab above) should therefore not be exceeded. If a second connection cable is mounted and connected to the power supply/controller, the maximum length can be twice as long as specified.
If the LED light strip is dimmed, electromagnetic emissions will occur. The unshielded connection cable should therefore be laid over a maximum length of 70cm. For longer cable runs and for fixed mounting in the ceiling, we recommend
shielded cables to use. We offer corresponding cables and
clamps for this purpose.
The narrow and very flat design offers maximum flexibility for use in a wide range of projects.
The self-adhesive back is provided with a very good adhesive original 3M brand adhesive tape, so that the light bands can be glued on almost all degreased surfaces. These must not have any heat-insulating properties!
Attention: Once LED light bands have been glued on, they can no longer be removed without causing damage! If it is nevertheless unavoidable, use a hairdryer to heat the adhesive. The maximum temperature should not exceed 60° C.
The LED light band can also be laid around corners (please do not bend!). Gluing on round shapes (minimum radius about 2.5cm) is also possible.
The LED light strip can be shortened every 100 mm with sharp household scissors at an appropriate mark. Based on our many years of experience, we always recommend soldering to extend sustainably.
Optionally, you can easily extend the light band with our
connectors .
Inner width: The LED light strip is only 10mm narrow, see specification. So the inner width of the profile should be at least 10mm.
Inner depth: Dot formation on the opaque cover is avoided from a profile depth of 7 mm and uniform illumination is made possible.
Please note that as the transmission rate of the cover increases, the light intensity decreases because the light is increasingly absorbed.
White Eta comparison
n this overview, you will find the most important distinguishing features at a glance. Depending on how you plan your lighting and whether you already use separate light sources for direct illumination, the light requirement can vary. The higher your lighting requirements, the higher the luminous flux you should select. We specify the luminous flux in ranges, as this varies depending on the whiteness and Ra value .
