Belly Pendant, E27
There is a close relationship between Nordic and Japanese design. In both places you can find the joy of simple expression and honest materials. Bønnelycke mdd took the traditional Japanese teapot as a starting point for creating the shape of the Belly pendant lamp.
On closer inspection, you can also see clear references to a cast iron stove or an archetypal bell. It is this handcrafted look that dominates, and in a convincing way Belly combines the heaviness of the form with the lightness of the suspension.
For operation you need an E27 bulb, which is replaceable but not included.
