Thanks to the center impression, you succeed in inserting the cable exactly and thus securely connecting both cable ends. These are inserted into the inner sleeve and fixed waterproof with a special crimping tool. This is made possible by the flexible and waterproof heat-shrink insulation, which you can also form and seal with a heat gun.
The butt connectors are color coded which is helpful with the different sizes.
