IMPORTANT: Due to the narrow width and the resulting small cross-section of the tracks, a considerable loss of voltage and therefore luminosity must be expected for lengths over 3 metres. As a result, the strip light must be fed in more frequently or on both sides.
Use in profile recommended!
Thanks to 120 LEDs per metre, the LED light strip is point-free from a depth of just 10 mm when used in profiles together with an opal diffuser. Measured internally, distance from the floor to the diffuser.
Aluminium and zinc sheet profiles optimally dissipate the resulting waste heat and thus prevent premature LED failure.

Our LED light strips are very adaptable and easy to install. Nevertheless, there are a few points to bear in mind. We list the most important aspects in this overview. Simply click on the plus sign. You can easily integrate this light strip into your smart home system and control it via an app, for example. You will need an LED power supply unit, an LED controller and a smart home centre or a remote control for white LEDs.
On/off: you only need a 12V LED power supply unit for the power supply if you don't want to dim.
The LED light strip is dimmable via PMW , i.e. with a suitable ballast, such as our controller, you can dim it to your desired brightness at any time without flickering (1000 Hz).
For operation, a 12V DC power supply unit is required. Please allow for a safety reserve of at least 20%. To do this, calculate the power of the light strip over its entire length and divide the result by 0.8. round to the next available power level. You can find a suitable power supply unit in our online shop.
To ensure adequate heat dissipation and a long service life, we always recommend mounting in a profile.
Please never stick this LED light strip directly onto insulating substrates (e.g. wooden constructions, insulation boards, plasterboard, polystyrene, etc.), but only onto heat-dissipating substrates, e.g. made of aluminium, sheet zinc, etc.
Sufficient heat dissipation is essential for LEDs, especially over long distances. Excessive heat development can significantly shorten the intended service life of the LED.
Due to the unavoidable voltage loss in the conductors, the light output is reduced with increasing length of the light strip. The reduction is proportional to the voltage loss.
If the voltage is reduced by 10% at the end, for example, the luminous flux of the last LED segment is also reduced by the same 10%.
The maximum length as stated in the specification (tab above) should therefore not be exceeded. If a second connection cable is fitted and connected to the power supply/controller, the maximum length can be twice as long as specified.
If the LED light strip is dimmed, electromagnetic emissions are generated. The unshielded connection cable should therefore be laid over a maximum length of 70 cm. For longer cable runs and for fixed installation in the ceiling, we recommend using shielded cables. We offer suitable cables and clamps .
The filigree and very flat design offers maximum flexibility for use in a wide range of projects. The self-adhesive backing is provided with a very good adhesive 3M brand adhesive tape so that the light strips can be stuck to almost all degreased surfaces. These must not have any heat-insulating properties!
Caution: Once LED light strips have been glued on, they cannot be removed without causing damage! If this is unavoidable, use a hairdryer to heat the adhesive. The maximum temperature should not exceed 60° C.
The LED light strip can also be laid around corners (please do not bend!). It can also be stuck onto round shapes (minimum radius approx. 2.5 cm).
The LED light strip can be shortened every 25 mm with sharp household scissors at a corresponding marking. Based on our many years of experience, we always recommend soldering for a sustainable extension.
Due to the filigree design of this light strip, soldering requires a delicate touch. We would be happy to solder this light strip to your desired dimensions.
Internal width: The LED light strip is 5 mm narrow, see specification. The internal width of the profile should therefore be at least 5 mm.
Internal depth: Dot formation on the opaque cover is avoided from a profile depth of at least 10 mm and uniform illumination is achieved.
Please note that the higher the transmission rate of the cover, the lower the light intensity, as the light is increasingly absorbed.
